Workshop LUZ Y ARTE, Papantla (Veracruz), Méjico - 2013
Prior to the Tajin cultural festival held yearly in the Takilhsukut park, 15 works by indigenous artists located in the park, were illuminated by 4 groups of Mexican architecture and engineering students The 5-day long workshop involved a deep understanding and interpretation of the complex artist’s work, to design respectful lighting installations that lasted the duration of the week long festival. After working onsite and finalizing the installations, each group of 12/15 students presented their work to the public and local authorities in a guided tour.
